Web Search Agents (Agent API)

Delegate research, enrichment, and dataset-building tasks. The agent plans, searches, browses, reasons, and returns cited, schema-matched output. Self-learning lowers cost per task on recurring work, by up to 50% over time. No configuration is needed. You choose the compute effort per request:

Search API

Real-time web search for agents, across the live web or within specific domains. Cost per 1,000 requests:

• Lite (links and snippets): $1.10. Built for fast, high-volume lookups.

• Standard (links and page summaries): $5. The default for agent and RAG context.

Focus modes; domain, time, and content-type filters; and include_answer for a cited answer are included. Deep mode adds full page contents to search results.

Extract, Crawl, and Map API

Retrieve content from known pages when your agent already knows where to look. Cost per 1,000 requests: $1

• Extract: clean markdown, HTML, or typed fields from a URL, with JS rendering and browser actions handled for you

• Crawl: retrieve whole sections of a site in one request

Extraction Templates (Extract Template API)
